Nepali Academics in America

SAVE THE DATE

Our 2nd conference will be on April 15 and 16.

The world has gone through many calamities and bounced back swiftly. Natural disasters such as hurricanes, wildfires, earthquakes, flooding, pandemics claim lives and physical structures. This year's conference will focus on resilience and recovery in the post-disaster world.

Due the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, this conference will be an interactive, live virtual conference. We look forward to coming together while respecting safe distance.

Submission Categories

Individual papers or organized sessions do not necessarily have to be within the conference's theme. Any papers advancing the knowledge in academic disciplines will be considered. You can submit papers under two categories:

  1. Organized session (one paragraph proposal, speaker/moderator/discussant information, and 3-4 individual paper abstracts)
  2. Individual paper abstract (author information and <100 word long abstract)
  3. Student paper for competition: Graduate students can submit papers in this category. A complete manuscript must be submitted by the deadline. Monetary award and certificate of recognition will be given to top three presenters
  4. 3-minute paper: All ideas you want to present in one slide in three minutes.
